Training the internal truck drivers to ensure safe transportation of hazardous goods at the port

At  APM Terminals Pipavav [GPPL], safety of our people is of utmost importance. Transporting hazardous goods require specific skills, expertise and most importantly knowledge to ensure safety of people and place. To this regard, we successfully trained our internal truck drivers on the “Safe Transportation of hazardous goods”. The three days comprehensive training was aligned with Central Motor Vehicle Rules to ensure compliance to the local rules and regulations. 30 drivers enthusiastically participated in the first batch of training. The training will equip our drivers with the required knowledge and skills to transport hazardous goods safely and responsibly to ensure safe operation at the port.
