COVID-19 Update

We would like to offer you our latest update on the outbreak of COVID-19 and relevant impact to APM Terminals Pecem.

General Status

All operational and administrative activities are carried out normally since the beginning of the epidemic caused by Covid-19. Internal measures have also been taken with respect to local and national security measures and protocols, such as:

• Availability of alcohol gel in bottles for collective and individual use.
• Supply and mandatory use of gloves and masks to all employees.
• Monitoring of body temperature at the entrance to the Terminal and at truck accesses at the main gate.
• Cleaning of cabins and port operating equipment.
• adaptation of teams to work in the home office and to work on operational shifts to reduce exposure to the risk of infection.

Thus, both the administrative area that now works remotely, and the operational sectors of the yard, ship, gate and pier perform their functions in their entirety and without any interruption forecast. It is worth mentioning that all customs procedures are maintained. Ship operations take place normally, as does the receipt and delivery of cargo.
