GTI [APM Terminals Mumbai] celebrates 1 million safe manhours at Fit for Future project site

Safety is at the core of our operations, and we live by that. We are thrilled to announce a remarkable milestone of completing one million safe man hours at our “Fit for Future” project site without LTI as on 22^nd August 2023. This indeed is a proud moment for us, as the project required decommissioning and dismantling of 5 STS cranes, onboarding and commissioning of new cranes, soffit repairs work, construction work related to extension of southern approach bridge and all this at the operational site since the past 23 months. 

This was made possible due to the constant vigilance & guidance by the management by regularly following Gemba and safety walk at the site, proper training, embracing safety and best practices by employees, following stringent protocols, and creating a culture of transparency and ownership amongst the employees. 

This is a testament to living our value of constant care and our unwavering commitment to prioritise safety of our people and equipment. This reinforces our position as trusted and reliable terminal in the industry.
