The wait is over... first news cranes arrive at APM Terminals Mumbai

The Zhen Hua 15 vessel, carrying two ship-to-shore cranes and three rail mounted gantry cranes, traversed 5,300 nautical miles over a period of 20 days, reaching APM Terminals Mumbai on Friday 28 April.

The new cranes, with a 23-row outreach, will help load and discharge larger vessels in a shorter time, thereby increasing operational efficiencies at the terminal. The installation of the new cranes will increase capacity at the terminal by 10%, up to 2.2 million TEUs per annum. We thank our customers and stakeholders for their understanding and support during our transformation journey. 

We are gearing up to welcome larger vessels and handling larger volumes efficiently, thereby offering superior customer experience.
