APM Terminals Mumbai demonstrates digital transformation to VIPs

It was a pleasure to welcome Shri Sudhansh Pant – Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways at our terminal today. Mr. Pant was accompanied by Mr. Sanjay Sethi – Chairman Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority [JNPA] and Mr. Unmesh Wagh- Deputy Chairman JNPA.

Mr. Sunay Mukerjee, COO GTI and Ms. Birna Osk, Global Commercial Head welcomed the guests at our office and briefed them about various initiatives being undertaken by Gateway Terminals of India (APM Terminals Mumbai), in its efforts to enhance customer experience and increase ease of doing business.

GTI’s digital transformation journey and implementation of Way of Working – Lean principles were special interest areas for the audience. The guests were delighted to see live demonstration of terminal’s digital twin on the Asset Digitization screen giving real time information on the assets at the terminal and at the yard.
