Advisory: Container Seal Details

Greetings from APM Terminals Mumbai!

This is to advise you that import containers discharged with seal missing, tampered or with number mismatch from the pick-up ticket shall be put on hold. Such containers shall be released for delivery only after due clearance from Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House. We request the transporter representative to ensure that the seal of the containers being evacuated by them are intact and have details matching with that mentioned on the pick-up ticket. The transporters are requested to alert the yard supervisor in case of any deviation.

Such containers shall be subject to a shifting charge to cover this extra activity. Request your cooperation in the matter to be in compliance with Customs procedures.
