APM Terminals Liberia lights up Bright Star Orphanage with Solar Kitchen

In February this year, the official dedication of a newly built kitchen at the Bright Star Orphanage took place. The project, which included a kitchen, dining area, and pantry facilities was initiated by APM Terminals Liberia Ltd. in collaboration with Cooperative Aid Incorporated.

In addition to the new facilities, we are proud to have installed an innovative 18Kw Solar Power System with 28.8Kw battery capacity. This sustainable energy solution will not only provide reliable power for the orphanage but also contribute to a greener future for all.

This Corporate Social Initiative holds a special place in our hearts as we strive to provide a nurturing and improved living environment for all thirty-two children staying at the orphanage in Sackie Town, Todee District, Montserrado County. This new space is not just a building; it is a symbol of hope and care for the children who call Bright Star Orphanage home.
