APM Terminals Liberia goes “green” on world environment day

Last week, APM Terminals Liberia took part the the annual GoGreen 2023 campaign. This year’s campaign coincided with World Environment Day 2023 which was celebrated under the theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.

As part of our celebrations, we partnered with CleanEx Incorporated, a Waste Management Company, to implement another round of drainage clean-up exercises in the Logan Town & Billimah Communities.

We have already adopted and implemented this community-based initiative multiple times in other communities within our catchment area. It helps to empower young people and promotes environmentally conscious practices that help reduce the risk of illnesses and flooding in these communities.

During the week, our Managing Director, Mr. Clay Crain delivered his annual GoGreen message to employees, emphasizing the importance of everyone’s commitment to protecting the environment by adopting eco-friendly behaviours both at work and at home.
