COVID-19 Update – Normal operations continue with proactive safety measures in place

APM Terminals in Mobile, AL continues to have normal operations with several pro-active safety measures being put in place as precautions. Terminal hours this week are the normal: 7:00am to 5:00pm (in-gate closes at 4:00pm)

Week 14 (March 30 through April 4) we anticipate to have the normal 7:00am to 5:00pm (in-gate closes at 4pm) hours. Please plan accordingly.

The terminal staff and employees continue to implement social distancing and good health practices. One such measure implemented is the APM Terminals team has been able to add some rental vehicles for internal transport to limit the amount of sharing. Also having additional cleaning, we hope to limit any exposure that people may encounter.

The Mobile, AL drayage community has helped tremendously in helping provide the required information to access and exit the facility with minimal face to face interaction. Successful implementation of social distancing has allowed drivers and terminal employees to continue a normal operational flow. We are proud of how fast people have taken the situation seriously and that is shown in people’s awareness of their surroundings.

Reminder from last week: If a drayage provider needs to have a driver get a terminal badge, the dispatcher needs to request a time to access the security office. This is in an attempt to limit the number of people in the security lobby at one time.
