Your opinion about APM Terminals Maasvlakte II

Your opinion about our services is very important. We ask for your opinion in different ways. One of them being our customer satisfaction survey, which is held every quarter. The survey allows you to indicate your level of satisfaction with the terminal, your experiences with APM Terminals Maasvlakte II, what is missing and what could be improved.

In quarter 2 of 2024, we achieved a less favorable score. A total of 49 participants completed the customer satisfaction survey and rated our terminal with an average of 7.6. This marks a decline of 0.6 compared to the previous quarter.

The reason for this decrease is the increased crowding on the trucking side. In the recent period, we have seen fewer intermodal deliveries and more by truck. This creates additional congestion and results in our time slots occasionally being full during peak times. In the survey, customers expressed the desire to see the congestion per stack. We are currently investigating internally what we can do for our customers regarding the above points.

The Copino Tar was also a frequently mentioned point in previous surveys. Linking TAR codes did not always go well. When adding a container to an existing TAR code, when the time slot was already full there was a challenge. In Portbase it showed that there was 1 TAR code for both containers, while in our Terminal System 2 separate visits were listed. Over the past few months, we worked hard to solve this problem, with positive results.
