Replacing sheaves on the cranes
Recently, the APMT MVII team have worked hard with Kalmar to replace all the sheaves on the cranes. This was necessary because the hardness of the sheaves did not comply with the required standard. Kalmar's Super Quay Cranes (deep-sea cranes) and Quay Cranes (barge cranes) have now all been replaced with new sheaves. The video below explains more about this project.
