Global Safety Day
A safe environment is important for all of us. On September 1st we focused on Global Safety Day 2022. Employees, contractors, and visitors could take part in different activities on our terminal, in line with the theme: ‘we learn and adapt’.
One of the activities were the Safety Gemba Walks focused on 6 different areas on the terminal. The teams defined risks and used their mutual knowledge and experience to define the safest solutions to be implemented as counter measures. As a result, APM Terminals Maasvlakte II will implement these counter measures to ensure solutions will be adapted in the organization and in our standard way of working.
It was a learning safety day.
