Solidarity Campaign on Children's Day

We delivered toys, scarves, and school support kits to hundreds of children in their day.

The donations were destined to the Caritas Felices picnic area in Esteban Echeverria of the Civil Association “Mamis Solidarias”, which with its # UnaMontañaDeRegalos campaign assists more than 800 children daily; also at the Nueva Generación dining room located in the Buenos Aires town of Merlo and at the San Marcelo Parish in San Isidro.

In the words of Father Ignacio Girard, from the parish where the gifts were delivered, “we believe that generating human, social, nutritional and educational possibilities in all our boys and girls has a transforming capacity for the future of our country. Guaranteeing food, access to education, recreation and health, as preventive spaces for the care of each child and their family make us a truly inclusive society, giving everyone opportunities to grow and develop in the reality that they live ” .

For his part, Juan Martín Malescio, head of Human Resources at the company explained that “from APM Terminals Buenos Aires we are very proud to carry out CSR actions such as those we have carried out within the framework of Children's Month, especially in this context of health crisis that requires the collaboration of all ”. And he highlighted that “it is a great satisfaction to be able to generate positive emotions in the communities where our employees live, and this time we were impressed by the joy and smiles of the children even in these difficult times. For this reason, once again we say that we are charged with solidarity, which mobilizes us day by day ”.
