Commencement of Reefer Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) and Repair of malfunctioning reefer units at KBSP

In response to customer feedback APM Terminals Bahrain has expanded it's range of Reefer Services to include Reefer PreTrip Inspection (PTI) services and Repair of malfunctioning reefer units are being offered at KBSP effective 15th August 2021.

These services are being rolled out with the intent to gradually develop a comprehensive bouquet of container related services at KBSP. Subject services adhere to industry standards and are aligned with guidelines and specifications from major shipping lines. Bahrain Port Tariff has been updated with the charges under section 4.6.

Kindly take note that third party vendors directly engaged by shipping lines, will no longer be permitted to attend to malfunctioning reefers at KBSP, with the introduction of these reefer services by APMT, effective 15th August 2021.
