Remote Booking of Appointments

Dear Valued Customers,

As you are aware, COVID-19 continues to be a serious threat to people’s health and safety.

One of the precautions advocated by the authorities to contain the spread of COVID-19 is social distancing, which we believe can be best achieved through remotely working and servicing our customer’s requirements.

We have introduced the offline payment option of Fawateer effective today 2nd April 2020. As a next step to further eliminate the need for our customers to visit our Appointment Office to process their appointment transactions, we shall be implementing steps effective 5th April 2020, whereby customers will be expected to follow the below steps for processing their appointments remotely.

  • Customers shall send an email to our Appointment office Group e-mail ID appbah@apmterminals.com (no other e-mail addresses to be included) enclosing scanned copies of all documents required to process their respective appointments.
  • On the body of the email request, customers shall mention shipment details as per the below format.

  • Once the request is processed and a booking is created, the appointments team will respond to the customer’s e-mail by sharing a “Draft” invoice for the charges payable to APM Terminals.
  • The customer shall use the option of Fawateer (Benefit Pay) to process payment and forward a screenshot or an attachment of the transaction receipt along with the “Draft” invoice to our cashier at their Group e-mail ID Cashier.Bahrain@apmterminals.com (no other e-mail addresses to be included).
  • Cashier shall finalize the invoice and share it with the customer through an e-mail to complete the appointment transaction.

The safety of our customers and our staff is of utmost importance during this critical period when we try to overcome the challenges posed by COVID-19.
