Terminal Landing Surcharge Fee (SFCT) Change
Effective 10/01/2019, the Terminal Landing Surcharge Fee (SFCT) will increase to $42.00 per container.

PayCargo payments made via TOPS will now result in immediate container release
PayCargo is a simple and secure online option for electronic payments. If you select the PayCargo option in TOPS, APM Terminals will receive notification of the payment instantly:
- Payments made thru TOPS via PayCargo will get an immediate release of cargo
- Customers using a credit card are able to consolidate payment activity into a single platform
- User friendly web-based interface (no software needed)
- Reduces processing costs. No more checks or costly wires
How to access
Current PayCargo Customers:
- Log-in or register at https://tops.apmterminals.com
- Select “PayCargo” as your payment option
- Use your current log-in details to complete transaction
New PayCargo Customers:
- Register at www.paycargo.com and set up your account in just a few minutes. Getting started requires no investment or commitment.

Terminal Landing Surcharge Fee Increase

Pay import demurrage through a later date
When logging into our online payment portal to search for import demurrage charges to pay, you will notice that the search screen defaults to the current date. If you are planning to pick up your container on a future date, you can simply change the Anticipated Pick Up Date as follows:
- Type it in the box or selecting it from the calendar.
- Select the appropriate terminal
- Enter your container number(s)
- Hit search.
Our system will automatically calculate the demurrage owed through the date you selected. If your container gates out before the date you have paid through, the overpayment will be refunded back to you.

Pay demurrage or terminal charges with an external payment platform
If you are planning to use an external payment platform such as Paycargo, please be advised that APM Terminals cannot guarantee same day release of containers for charges paid in this manner.
APM Terminals requires confirmation that the funds have been received into our bank before releasing container holds. Depending on the payment platform this process may take 1-2 business days.
To get a container released immediately please visit TOPS where you can pay with any major credit card or E-check.
